Troop: A SCOUT IS REVERENT!
Scout Sunday will be held on February 12th, 2012 at Williamson's Chapel UMC. Scout Sunday is the greatest opportunity for us to show our presence in front of the entire congregation. Its a chance for the members of Williamson's Chapel to see what a fine group of Scouts they support. There are 3 services that we will be present as a Scout Troop. 8:15AM, 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Every Scout should be present at these services!!! WCUMC is our chartering organization and provides us with not only buildings to meet in, but support when we need it. From Eagle Scout Projects to special funding, they are supportive in so many ways. We are very fortunate to have such a great church support this great Scout Troop. We encourage all of the leaders of the troop to attend as many services as they can. Each Scout should strive to attend not only one service but as many as they are able. That way we have a big presence at all 3 services so that ALL congregational members can see us. We will be taking an active role in all 3 services... SO sign up on EVENTBRITE today and plan to attend. Sign up for any and all services you wish to attend. Sign up for all 3 if you want...
Also, The Mens Group will be again sponsoring breakfast for the troop at 7:15 in the fellowship hall. I highly recommend this breakfast as it really is a good way to eat some great food and meet with our sponsors. The Mens group has been VERY SUPPORTIVE in many of the Troop Eagle Projects.
FULL CLASS A UNIFORM IS MANDATORY-If you arent sure what that is, ask your patrol leader...
